All year long I have been buying and collecting antique photographs and books, vintage buttons, trims, laces, and other goodies that are at least 60 years old. Since I rarely can sit still and constantly have to be working with my hands I have decided to create as many Christmas ornaments as I have cdv photographs. I currently have 40+ cdv photos and another 60 on their way to me. I cannot resist a good deal and usually buy in large lots online or dig through boxes of dirty things at flea markets just to save money.
This is what I have come up with so far. I am sure as Christmas nears I will incorporate all different styles.

About Time
I figure that it's about time I start an art blog. I am not sure how often I will update it as I am usually elbows deep in paint, glue, laquer among other things.
Currently I have been creating Halloween and Dia de los Muertos art. These pieces are sure to be vintage, creepy, and head turning. If gore is not your cup of apple cider check out my charming Halloween pieces that have classic imagery such as 'The Man in the Moon', Jack-O-Lanterns, bats, and witches. I will have this type of original art for sale year round since some people are big into this sort of thing. In the next few weeks I will be creating my winter line of original altered art.
